200 Hour Yoga Therapy Immersion: 12 weekends in 12 months
Yoga Therapy of Michigan’s 200-hour Yoga Therapy Immersion integrates the ancient wisdom of Classical Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Ayurveda through the teaching of history, philosophy and he ageless healing practices that complement each other so perfectly. The Yoga Therapy Immersion blends the healing benefits of yoga and Ayurveda and prepares you for further study and potential certification in Yoga Therapy.
The Yoga Therapy Immersion program is taught by E-RYT 500, Suzanna Ran, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and more than 1000 hours of training as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist. Yoga Therapy-OM has been a Registered Yoga School with Yoga Alliance since 2008.
The comprehensive year-long program is taught one weekend a month and consists of two modules: The Ayurveda Yoga Module and the Ashtanga Yoga Module. After the completion of all the work in both modules, you will receive a Certificate of Completion with which you may register with Yoga Alliance.

YOGA THERAPY-0M ASHTANGA MODULE (100 hours)
Learn the 31 postures of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga, Sun Salutations and Standing and Closing Series alongside the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali interpreted both poetically and analytically. Practice asana, pranayama, mudra, meditation, yoga nidra and kirtan. Study physical anatomy, alignment, cueing, modifications, adjustments and the therapeutic uses and benefits of each practice.

YOGA THERAPY-OM AYURVEDA YOGA MODULE (100 hrs)
Study the basic principles and practices of Ayurveda (the oldest health care system on the planet) and Yoga (Mind Mastery) and their intrinsic collaboration to balance the physical, emotional, mental, intuitive and spiritual bodies through asana (posture), pranayama (life-force practices), mantra (vibrational sound), mudras (spiritual hand gestures), ahara (diet) and dhyana (meditation).
Learn therapeutic yoga practices designed for injury prevention and treatment and “dosha balancing” vinyasa sequences to create and maintain balance and improve vitality and resilience.
