Harmony Yoga Classes
Each
75-minute class consists of asana
(postures) savasana (relaxation),
pranayama (breath practices) and dhyana
(meditation). Most classes are taught in a Vinyasa style
linking breath and movement. For proper yoga guidance all
students participating in any of our classes must meet with
a certified yoga therapist for either an

Vata Harmony
Yoga Class:
To reduce excess vata this practice will be quiet and
grounding with longer holding postures that increase core
strength, balance and flexibility.
Pitta Harmony
Yoga Class:
To reduce excess pitta this practice emphasizes effortless
and ease in all yoga asanas. Heart opening postures, forward
bends and twists balance this dosha.
Kapha Harmony
Yoga Class:
To reduce excess kapha this strong flow vinyasa practice
will be energetic, emphasizing asana to reduce excess body
weight and prepare for supported inversions.
Tri-Dosha
Harmony Yoga Class
To maintain balance in all three doshas, this vinyasa class
includes sun and moon salutations, backbend and forward
bends, twists and long holding postures.
Yoga Chikitsa:
This therapeutic practice derived from the Ashtanga Primary
Series includes sun salutations, standing asana, seated
asana, inversions and the closing series to maintain harmony
in all three doshas.
Structural
Harmony Yoga Class
This therapeutic class brings healing prana to muscle/joint
imbalances caused by overuse injuries or trauma by
emphasizing awareness and sensation through alignment and
holding postures.
